Terms of service

1. Scope of services

LeadAssist provides website design, hosting, maintenance, and support for local service businesses. Service scope depends on your active plan and any approved add-on work.

2. Client responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate business details and lawful content.
  • You confirm you own or have rights to all logos, images, and copy supplied.
  • You are responsible for reviewing and approving final content before launch.

3. Launch revisions and monthly minor changes

First week after launch: two rounds of changes are included.

  • A round means one consolidated list of edits submitted together.
  • Rounds must be requested within 7 calendar days of launch.
  • Major changes are excluded from included rounds.

After week one: minor monthly changes are included, up to 15 minutes of work total per calendar month.

  • Minor changes include small text updates, replacing an image, or contact detail edits.
  • Unused change time does not roll over.
  • Work above 15 minutes is billable at our current rates.

4. Major changes and pricing

Major changes are billed separately and require written approval before work starts.

  • New page (client-supplied copy and assets): from NZD $75 + GST per page.
  • New page with content structuring/copy assistance: from NZD $95 + GST per page.
  • Site restructure (navigation, page flow, section re-layout): from NZD $320 + GST.
  • New functionality or integrations (booking, advanced forms, custom widgets): quoted case-by-case.
  • Additional revision rounds outside included allowances: NZD $45 + GST per 15 minutes.

5. Billing and payment

  • Monthly plans are billed in advance and renew automatically unless cancelled.
  • Invoices for add-on or major changes are payable by the stated due date.
  • Overdue accounts may result in paused support or service suspension.

6. Hosting and availability

We use reputable hosting and infrastructure providers. While we aim for high uptime, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not liable for third-party outages beyond our reasonable control.

7. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of your business content and trademarks. LeadAssist retains ownership of proprietary templates, tooling, and reusable implementation methods unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use the website or services for unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful activity. We may refuse or suspend services that breach these terms.

9. Liability and warranty limits

Services are provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LeadAssist is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and total liability is limited to fees paid for the affected service period.

10. Cancellation and termination

  • All new clients begin on a 3-month trial period. Cancellation is permitted after the trial period ends.
  • After the 3-month trial, services convert to a 12-month commitment term.
  • If you cancel during that 12-month commitment term, the remaining balance for the full year is payable.
  • From year 2 onward, services continue month-to-month and may be cancelled with 1 month's written notice.
  • We may terminate or suspend service for non-payment or material breach.
  • After termination, hosting and related managed services may be discontinued.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Updates take effect when published on this page, with the revised date shown above.
